Afternoon, I have a tricky situation. I have a brother who was adopted out when he was a baby to my mothers best friend. My brothers adoptive mother passed away a number of years ago from breast cancer and my brother moved to NSW with his adoptive father. I am turning 25 this year and my brother will be turning 20. I have a strong desire to connect with my brother but he is yet to know he is adopted. I have no idea of his last name, where he lives ( besides NSW i think ) , all i know is the year he was born and i have a photo of him that i a few years old. I would ask my mother for more information but we dont speak and the occasional time we have spoken about my brother she has shut down and given minimal details. I have considered putting a post up with the photo i have and trying to locate him but this i believe would raise questions and possibly bring his whole world crashing down to find out he is in fact adopted. Is there any way of locating my brother without making it so public ? I so desperately would love to meet him . Thank you.
