Afternoon Update: John had a pretty stable night although he still had a high heart rate. The meds were keeping his blood pressure up. They did another procedure putting a tube in his chest to get rid of the air behind his heart and lungs caused by all procedures hes had and to inflate his lung again. It went smoothly and it brought his heart rate down immediately! He is getting food through his feeding tube for the first time since they moved it to his stomach...so thats a blessing too! His fevers have been on the low side and he has been managing them without the cooling blanket so thats another great sign! Looking forward to a great restful healing day!
