Afternoon chaps, Im currently writing a speech to be delivered during the rebadging ceremony from B SQN, 3/4 Cav to B SQN, 2 Cav. Im after your suggestions for it. No other Cavalry unit that Im aware of has the same strength and culture that can be found amongst the 3 Cav and 4 Cav old boys and to write anything without your input would be a bit of a disservice I feel. Is there anything that absolutely has to be mentioned or anything that you feel would be a disservice for me to skip over? I have 5 minutes to wax lyrical about the history, battle honours and culture of 3/4 Cav and Im sure no one will complain too bitterly if I go over that slightly (except maybe the Reos!). If theres anything you want to share, please dont hesitate to contact me via these means through commenting here or messaging me. Unfortunately Im uncontactable by phone or any other way till next year but Im checking facebook pretty constantly.
