Afternoon lovelies, as promised this morning I thought Id share a little about myself with you all. Im Katie, 32 and mummy to my two year old daughter Lyra. Two years ago I barely knew how to sew a button on, it was only after the birth of Lyra that I decided to take the plunge so to speak. Mainly due to the fact that Lyra was six weeks old and I wasnt coping very well, I had PND and things were pretty bad. I found a local sewing class and signed up to the beginners course, then a fashion course and then a craft course, Id caught the sewing bug. My amazing tutor Victoria was my life saver. With her tuition I became Katie again and regained my confidence I lost through the PND. Going through something like PND really took its toll on me and I still have bad days now but sewing is my creative release and it helps to keep me focused and in control. Ive met some amazing people through my work and I hope I continue to do so because youre all so fabulous. Xxx
