Afternoon prayer: Father, I just cant get over Your continued pursuit of us. I admit...sometimes I cling to my insecurity... Whenever I do cling to such things...I raise the question...Why me, Lord? Why do You continue to pursue me? What am I to You...that You would take time on my heart? Then, without a word being said...You cover me with the most incredible peace. Then, You remind me that I am Yours. Thats why You pursue me. You warn me to not allow the enemy to get me confused as to whats important. Its not where Ive been or what Ive done...but what Your Son did...for me. This pursuit is to remind me that I was meant for more. You want us to let go of the entanglements of the flesh...so that we can more fully take hold of Your hand. Your Son came to set us free... Father, thank You for Your continued pursuit of us. Continue to work in our hearts and remind us that there is soo much more...within the palm of Your hand...than everything the world has to offer. May we take a deep breath and allow our anxieties to melt away...our fears to be revealed as empty threats from an enemy thats already been defeated. We are Yours. You are with us...for us...and will never leave us...but continue to open our eyes to see You clearer...and continue to enlarge our hearts to breathe more of You in. Guide us through this day, Lord. We will follow. Thank You, Father. We love You. In Jesus precious name, Amen. #RelentlessPursuit
