#AfternoonEdition OTEKAT EXPLAINS QU ROW The controversy surrounding the collapse of Uganda’s national carrier, the Uganda Airlines, continues with new information coming out. The Chairman - Board of Directors of Uganda Air Cargo, Captain John Emily Otekat reveals that one of the five Boeings that had been bought by President Iddi Amin Dada at the time the airlines collapsed was sold to Zimbabwe. Capt. Otekat revealed that whereas there are plans to revive the Uganda Airlines, a lot of political intrigue is at play to fail the revival by individuals who are running private air companies, claiming that reviving QU is not economically viable.
