Again, I am asking for your help. The Missouri Department of Conservation has passed a 10 blue cat limit, with a slot limit of 26-34 and allow 2 blue cats over 34. This new rule is on Truman Reservoir and Lake of the Ozarks and their Tributaries. We as Catfishermen have been asking for this for years state wide. We now have a start and I believe many other states have been waiting to see what Missouri did before making decisions in their state. There is only 1 small group that is opposing this new law witch was passed and supported by overwhelming numbers of sportsman from all over the country. The Outback radio show out of Clinton Mo is the only group that oppose this new law. This group headed by Johnny Everhart, Linda Everhart, Jeff Faulkenberry, Richard Bowling, are trying to get this stopped. A want to be duck hunter, a left wing wife and two guides that make their living catching and butchering all the fish they catch and never wanting to return the breeding size fish to the water so they can reproduce. We are all in this together, we need the support of all catfishermen and women to email, write letters or call the MDC to show our support. This is the only way to make sure this new regulating will be upheld. Here is the contact information.
