Again, we are truly sorry to our fans for the on-line technical issues which Delfont Mackintosh Theatres experienced this morning due to the overwhelming demand. This has always been an event for the fans and we are incredibly upset about the frustration this has caused. We have spoken to the team at Delfont Mackintosh and they explained that the reason why some tickets appeared after we were sold out is because some were released from website baskets. We also did everything we could to release some further tickets to help demand - but by 12pm we had absolutely nothing left to sell. The ticketing system can cope with 150,000 people buying simultaneously, but crashed several times when so many people accessed the same performance at the same time. If we get further seats back – we promise to let you know first.
