Against free market principles in Ethiopia land belongs to the government not the people. And, whenever the government have a political and economic reasons to take the land you own you have no right but leave. The paradox of this government policy is that the government claims if land becomes individual property the rich would take advantage of the poor. But, what do you call it when the government displaces city residents and destroy their social fabric and settle its party affiliated people recruited from all over the region so as to change the demographic in Addis that are considered uneasy to TPLF blunders and oppose its mercenary character?
