Aggravated Assault Greensboro, NC (January 20, 2015) -- At 8:25 p.m. on 1.19.2015—Police responded to 716 Marsh Street in reference to a shooting. The victim stated she answered a knock on the back door and observed a subject standing there with his shirt pulled over his face. The subject displayed a handgun and ordered her to “give it up.” She quickly shut the door—at which time a single shot was discharged through the door—striking the victim. The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black-male in his 20’s wearing all black color clothing. The investigation is ongoing. The name and address of victim is being withheld temporarily. Authority: Lt. D. J.
