Aggravated by lies, part 1 Story starts at our current church for the foundation of truth from the start. God of heaven blame me should a tell a lie. My wife and I had recently wed at our local church. We had a bit of struggle from the start, (most marriages do). We had high hopes of attendance and celebration for the wedding that just did not go as planned. I was upset that she did not get the wedding reception she deserved. My own doing had me a bit more extended financially, than I am comfortable with. Not a disaster, however, due to learning to live within my means from necessity through previous mistake. My wife had began thinking of leaving her current company to seek opportunity to work for herself, just before our honeymoon. We both knew it to be risky and a leap of faith, but I wanted her to be and feel fulfilled in her work, so we agreed. We returned from our honeymoon vacation and she began work elsewhere. We had thought it a perfect time to look into the purchase of a nearby property for sale. To our dismay, we found her credit to be ruined by fraudulent collection accounts and activities. Discouraged for sure, we already had enough going on, but we sucked it up and went into damage control. We tried hard to get it resolved and corrected before the property was sold, but a cash bid insured a quick closing. It would have been difficult to budget a higher mortgage with the now smaller monthly income from a slowly building new business. I had been doing some spare work here a there to stay busy and improve the neighborhood, but I was thinking it time to look for opportunities that would be more financially rewarding. To my surprise a deacon from church inquires on Sunday of my work. I respond that I make my own schedule around projects. He hands me a card and tells me to try to come in his office Tuesday at 7 and it will change my life. I dont remember ever thinking that I needed my life changed, but I was interested in keeping my options open for more income. Change my life it did and putting the hook in, is next!
