Agonising 2-10 to 5-8 defeat for Galway and the Headford lads after extra time. Darren Moran, Richard Fahy and Dylan Corbett can hold their heads up high after performing very well for their county. Darren and Richard grew into the game and could be included in Galways best 3 players along with Full forward Eoin McCormack. Dylan defended valiantly after coming on, while Padraic Cunningham will hopefully get his chance next year as he is underage again. Its been a great journey and a great experience that unfortunately has come to a premature end for the lads today, but hopefully they can have an impact for the club in the Minor and possibly Junior Championships later in the season.
