Agreed... Im not normally one to tout politics on my wall, but our media puts such a destructive spin on the religion of Islam and Muslim people. I have lived and traveled in several Muslim countries for extended periods of time and have always found the people to be most hospitable and amazing. This guy hits the nail right on the head... violent people are violent. Peaceful people will be peaceful. When the average American hears the word Muslim... their mind goes to the Middle East. Their mind goes to extremists, terrorists, and Sharia law. This is a very small minority of the Muslim world. The majority of the Muslim population around the world is not even located in the middle east. Its Oceania (Indonesia and surrounding countries) and India (plus Surrounding areas). Nancy and I spent a month in Myanmar (Burma), and heard countless stories of the mass slaughtering of Muslims by the Buddhists in the Shan State and Kachin State. Violent practices and crimes against humanity need to be eradicated, no matter what religion one identifies with. Its not the religion that is the problem... its the people and the mindset that is the problem. Thanks for sharing Mark Jojo Wookie.
