Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala is here in our city to lead the Inauguration and Turn-Over of the P39.5-million Managok Communal Irrigation Project funded under the Mindanao Rural Development Project (MRDP). The said project will benefit 210 farmers and capable to irrigate farmlands up to 300 hectares. Half of the total project cost was funded by the World Bank under the MRDP and co-financed between the Department of Agriculture Region 10 and the City Government of Malaybalay who shared an equity of 40 and 10 percent, respectively.
