Ah, Verizon, you torture me. Since yesterday, your network management and filters have just really sucked worse than normal. ICMP is fine. Mail and web are a disaster. You are clearly interrupting the connections. Do you really think that this will force customers to use more of your services? When connecting via a neighbors network using a different provider all all of my same network equipment, things are just spiff. Connecting through a VPN and egressing through that, things are spiff. The other day you managed to briefly hijack my DNS. A while back, you blocked the ability to use other DNS servers but stopped when you had to send lawyers to testify on Capitol Hill about net neutrality and why you opposed it (you want control so you can show more ads and further screw with competitors in an anti-competitive manner). My only other option is Comcast. I despise them just a modest amount more because of their behavior and how they were rebirthed through reverse Morris trust. But dont push it. I had better performance from a T-1 that I provided to the bandwidth on years ago in Cambridge. Yep, my 1.544/1.544 Mbps T-1 had better functional throughput than my supposed 35/35 Mbps FIOS connection.
