Ah, my girls love the cold- too cold for any kind of longer walk (with wind chill well below -20C up there, I am sure)- just 45 minutes on icy paths, still made best of it and ran and played and barked lots- also fell a few times, not me, had my spikes on my boots. But then, cause they are so bored, they got some pieces of deerhide (fur attached of course) to eat/chew/play. And of course, the whole house smells after this fantastic bone broth I have simmering- also cooked them a good portion of veggie stew to add to their meat- pureed all with the meat and fat that came off the bones so far- they will be loving their food even more this week. No we have to brave the cold once more for our little afternoon/evening walkie and then we can stretch out and just enjoy the wood stove, forget about the cold until tomorrow morning....
