Ah the days past when I was on a drill team and honor guard at Ft. Monmouth while attending Army Signal School. . . it was a real honor to volunteer and to be accepted into that special unit while in school. We did parades and special engagements . . but the highest honor was we also did burial detail for troops from Vietnam on the East Coast for funeral detail. A very special time and memory for sure. 1970s for me.
