Ah... the memory of the months and months and [OMG] ... months of Mr Boehner shouting into any/every microphone, WHERE ARE THE JOBS? --while stating STRONGLY -again and again and again- that if his party were to have control of the House -?- THEIR jobs plan would answer that question. He refused to describe their plan ---refused to discuss any of the integral parts/areas of action --and actually said [-live and in front of a Sunday morning talking head] that he had to play his cards close to his chest (--because :-) ya know :-) those o-t-h-e-r folk might steal his/their ideas ) ... but ... e-l-e-c-t the republicans [!], and then watch em work. Yes. And now, the memory of all the speeches in front of all the microphones p-o-s-t the election race to mind, do they not? You remember them, do you not? They paralleled/equated to his hundreds of PRE-election moments with Where are the jobs? --the [campaign] ads with the hound dog whom he asked to help him find out WHERE are the jobs?-- and all of the other PRE-election messages to the American people ... correct? You DO remember that correlative POST-election presence of aproud Mr Boehner in front of microphone and microphone declaring: HERE is our plan! ... (Oh... the absent memories, eh? of all the moments -quite literally- the 100s of opportunities ... to see him address and instruct America about ... this newly elected party and their leaders new ....jobs plan ... r-i-g-h-t?) This morning, when I went to check mail, I was met with an immigration story via AOL. Ah. The memories ... again. Mr Boehner, yet again. In N-o-v-e-m-b-e-r of 2012: Mr Boehner fervently strode -repeatedly- to the microphones. I distinctly remember the somewhat odd physical feeling/sensations that I experienced each time my jaw dropped .... AS I began to -simultaneously- smile/laugh at hearing Mr Boehner deliver his new chant --another ... election stomp- where he explained that he was now not only FOR immigration reform -?- but he firmly averred that he would get it passed DURING t-h-a-t specific/current Congressional session. WOW ... Not only ... throwing down -?!!- but giving a time and DATE for the watch us work! ............. [W-o-w ...(lol) --eh? ... LOL] YES! Per t-h-a-t John Boehner: A comprehensive approach is long overdue, and Im confident that the president, myself, others can find the common ground to take care of this issue once and for all. By GOD --- once and for all Cool beans. Get er done, John ... Some folks have been waiting for (---wait; I dont quite know how to address this ... when a situation is allowed to fester for ... generations -?-] ... --some folks have been waiting an obscenely long time for the non-tradiontal (?) lack of leadership in the Congress ... Yes. Get er done, Mr Boehner, and then get home to be with your family for the holiday! Fox noted the relevancy, and the urgency PER Mr Boehner and his vow ... House Speaker John A. Boehner, one of the most hard-line members of Congress on immigration, now says that comprehensive reform – which includes a pathway to legalization for the undocumented -- will be a priority in 2013. ---Boehner’s vow to prioritize overhauling the immigration system The hell with THEN ... this is N-O-W .... The NEW Congress ... the NEW way of gettin things done by this ?new? John Boehner. With the republicans in control of the House ... 2013 was THE year to do it, and BY GOD .... 2013 came and 2013 .... passed. Dya r-e-m-e-m-b-e-r the repeated and heated debates that r-a-g-e-d through all of last year -?- Dya remember the subsequent, agonizing compromises as the house fought on so many vital elements before f-i-n-a-l-l-y arriving at --and passing- the new -LANDMARK- American immigration reform bill? Yeah. Me neither. I gotz ZERO memory of anything like that. But HEY! NOW, one party has b-o-t-h houses of the US Congress. So, of course ... N-O-W!! The XL-ence of their performance is already completely underwhelming, is it not? [ :-) of course, its already been ... FUN :-) ]
