Ah...watching a show on tv bizarre foods with andrew zimmern in Cuba. anthony bourdain the show before was also in cuba. I went to Puerto Rico with my friend and her PR husband. He took us to good outdoor clubs with lots of salsa music and other kinds of PR music. It was magical. I lived in Vieques, a small island off the coast of PR and had a nice time there as well. They are so different than the PRs in the States?? i hve no idea why, but they are quiet and mellow. They work, eat, play and sleep and the emphasis is not on working till u drop dead like Americans. now theyre showing the dancing in the outside bars with big verandas like in Puerto Rico. the Cubans look like they know how to enjoy life like the PRs in PR. i just put my head up closed my eyes and said the new world will be like this and a wave of pleasure washed over me as i got lost in the salsa music. now theyre fishing on a deserted cuban island, in the blue caribbean waters with an underwater shot of a huge lobster they caught. ah...good times to come, well except for killing a living creature :) cant wait. night.
