Ah yes, the inevitable Year-End Thank You Post!!! But seriously, there are so many people who touched my life in so many ways this year that I dont know where to begin...so many people to mention that I know someone will be missed. Still there are some people who made enough of a difference in my life that they need to mentioned here. 1.) First and Foremost, to my siblings, David Maiorino, Anita Dupree, and Marie Maiorino Proctor...THANK YOU for being my brother and sisters. THANK YOU as well to all my cousins, nieces, and nephews for being so wonderful all through the years!!! 2.) To my mentors and advisors, Richard Renda (words cannot express how much your support and friendship have meant to me), Michel Tileri of Runway Weekly (my brother from another mother), Stephen Marinaro (for all your support and friendhip and the great opportunites you have brought my way), Andre Chiavelli (thanks for the pep talk in October, I needed that): THANK YOU for the freindship and the advice (and the sometimes scoldings). It all helped me in 2014 and will help me even more in 2015 as I inch coser and closer to my goals. 3.) To all my beloved friends and colleagues on the media risers in New York and Miami (that includes the Men in Black from Citadel and wonderful folks at IMG)...WOW, there are so many of you and I love you all and miss you in between seasons!!! THANK YOU for the laughs, the help, the inspiration (seriously, you all rock!!!) but most of all, thanks for the FRIENDSHIP we have shared since my rookie year of 2008!!! Hard to believe it has been 7 years already!!! 4.) To ALL the lovely models who I had the pleasure of shooting with this year...so many of you...your beauty and grace took my breath away!!! THANK YOU for all the beautiful images and I look forward to shooting with as many of you as I can again in 2015!!! 5.) To all the talented hairdressers and makeup artists I met/worked with this year...especially Jennifer Lynn Chlebowski, Valerie Weiss, Stephen Marinaro, Franco Della Grazia, Sean Hayes, Brian Grieve Tracey Smith, Clark Russell, Ryan Teal, Jessica Portillo, Yamasaki Ken...THANK YOU for the inspiration!!! 6.) To all the amazing designers who dazzled me with their energy and creativity...special mention goes out to Zang Toi on his 25th Anniversary this year (what an honor it was to be able to shoot your show this past season)...THANK YOU as well!!! 7.) To all my friends who laughed with me and goofed on me this year...thank you for the fun times in 2014 and I look forward to more in 2015. But dont goof on me too much, I have a sick, twisted sense of humor in case you havent figured that out already!!! 8.) To the cities of New York, Miami, Las Vegas, and London...a BIG THANKS for all the fun times and great images...looking forward to more in 2015!!! 9.) To God for blessing me and giving me all the wonderful opportunities and friends and family that I have!!! 10.)
