Aha! Januarys Loot Crate is here! (And no unpleasant mail accompanying it, too.) The length and width of the box is the same as Decembers, but its noticeably shallower - easily by an inch. The convention, as I understand it, is not to do open reveals before January 28th, though Im sure that if I did any sort of search Id find full reveals. So long as its not immediately shown - one has to click to see the rest - I figure Im okay. Ill save pics for later in the month. Try to avoid mentioning any specifics in the comments for now. Again, Im not much of a gamer, so the NES-themed action figure cartridge (like an NES cartridge with Mr. Potato Head arms and legs to plug in) doesnt do anything for me. The 8-Bit Sunglasses are a fun item I might actually use in the right circumstance. Voltron means next to nothing to me - I recognize him, but thats about as far as it goes (much as, say, something like Megaman) so the blueprint t-shirt, while nice, isnt one Ill run to use -- but shirts are always handy. Itll be a race to see if I get around to using it or find someone who will enjoy it more. The Comic Note Book is cool, and just the kind of thing I need to let myself use. Perfection is the enemy of the good! Best item in the box IMHO is a black background skinny tie with a silver Space Invader print. So, the Comic Note Book, the very cool Space Invaders print tie, and the Star Wars comic (cover seen earlier this week) are the box highlights for me.
