Ahab, Jezebel and Naboth, i am trying to find the right words to put these three in there proper context but Jezebel seem to envelop my every thoughts, even though Ahab was the king and Naboth was the victim. the meaning of the name Jezebel is Baal exalts or pure virginal. its funny because it does nothing to simplify or make you understand this woman who God condemns. you understand his actions and you even wonder if being eaten by dogs is a justifiable punishment for one so cold and evil. i try to keep my own heart open but could not. she carried malice hate and murder like trophies, she set up false witnesses against an innocent man she killed the profits of god she seem to lack any form of moral practice, she served idols and seem motivated by hate. but i read trying to find a reason an excuse in her character there was non.
