Ahead Of SC Verdict Today: Busy Streets/Markets In Accra Abandoned As the nation awaits the historic final verdict of the 2012 Election Petition which will be broadcast today, major busy streets and markets in Accra have been abandon by traders and hawkers. One of Ghana’s most busiest markets even during republic holidays, Makola, at about 6 O’clock Thursday morning was as quiet as the cemetery. Heavy vehicular traffic during ordinary days from Accra to Kwame Nkrumah circle and some major streets is at ease while public transport “Trotro” driver’s express worry of how to make sales. Peacefmonline information indicates that, some traders at the Makola market are in fear and panic of what might occur after the verdict has been announced despite numerous peace messages preached. The faith of both the petitioners (NPP) and the respondents (NDC) will be determined by the nine panel judges led by Justice William Atuguba as to who won the 2012 Presidential election.
