Ahead Of SC Verdict Today: Busy Streets/Markets In Accra Abandoned As the nation awaits the historic final verdict of the 2012 Election Petition which will be broadcast today, major busy streets and markets in Accra have been abandon by traders and hawkers. One of Ghana’s most busiest markets even during republic holidays, Makola, at about 6 O’clock Thursday morning was as quiet as the cemetery. Heavy vehicular traffic during ordinary days from Accra to Kwame Nkrumah circle and some major streets is at ease while public transport “Trotro” driver’s express worry of how to make sales.
