Ahead of the Wild, Wild Midwest Sporting Clays Shoot and Barbecue that will be held at the Izaak Walton League in Kokomo on Sept. 6, 2014, the Kokomo Perspective is accepting donation items for the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana based on the needs list from the organization. Those wishing to make a donation can bring the needed items to the Kokomo Perspective office at 209 North Main Street in downtown Kokomo. Due to stringent health codes and for the safety of the house guests, items should be new and not out of date. Pantry items: cereal (individual servings) tuna and cracker snack packs canned meats (chicken, turkey, ham) pretzels and chips (individual servings) snacks (Little Debbies, cookies) individual juice boxes bottled water ravioli canned fruit (pineapple and pears) microwavable macaroni and cheese cooking oil cereal bars Kitchen and bath items: aluminum foil plastic storage baggies (sandwich and quart-sized) dishware (including drinking glasses) muffin tins and cookie sheets pots and pans for cooking (including skillets) Corelle ware dishes Guest room items: hairspray lotion liquid hand soap deodorant mouthwash queen-sized thermal blankets female shaving cream disposable razors pack-n-plays body wash irons toothbrushes drying racks shampoo and conditioner hair dryers laundry baskets facial tissues Regular silverware: disposable and non-disposable utensils (forks and spoons) plastic or paper cups (12 oz.), bowls, and plates toilet paper Office needs: manilla folders 8x11 color and white copy paper stamps Cleaning supplies: scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner disposable gloves dryer softener sheets Windex toilet bowl cleaner Lysol wipes all-purpose cleaner Murphys Oil Soap daily shower spray liquid laundry detergent liquid dishwashing soap hand sanitizer Other items: air freshener disposable single-use thermometers disposable diapers (all sizes) feminine products alarm clocks lactation products (for nursing mothers) gift items (for special events and silent auctions) scrapbook materials umbrellas All items collected for this drive will be presented to the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana at the sporting clays tournament on September 6.
