Ahh, science. Theres them that know it, and the dangerous ones that took a class or read an article once. People are so gullible. This is just dumb on so many levels. Anyone with experience with explosions, implosions, and high-speed collisions will have enough physical intuition to immediately recognize this as an outward expansion of compressed air. A compression wave travels downward within the column of air inside the building. It travels at the speed of sound, creating pressurized air inside the building. The compressed air (filled with smoke)pops out weakest windows and holes in the buildings. Since the inside of the building is not just one big cavity, the air can flow out some holes much better than others. Windows pop like the diaphragm of a shock tube or gas gun, creating a very high-speed jet of smoke-filled air. The high school teachers physics is a bit too simple.
