Ahhh, the Portland Swap Meet Trip is upon me again. Every year a different adventure, will it be like the year Nic Wagner and Greg Keithley went with and took us 18 hours to get there from Spokane after I kept changing several front main seals on the side of the road and adding 2 quarts of oil every 30 miles just to find out the seals were fine and it was a hole in my timing chain cover from a worn timing chain and I had to swap a timing chain on the truck during the swap meet; Or like the year Chris Lee and I went to California first and almost got stranded out of money because a guy didnt buy my directional Boggers and we had to meet up with Aaron Westlake along the way and borrow money to get back while delivering a VW to Seattle; or will it be like the trip Robert Weiss and I made where my $700 motorhome got 2.9mpg and I spent more in fuel for it than I paid for the whole motorhome; Or like last year with Nick Knapp and Whitney Wieber where we pulled up in my duct tape camper and truck with bedsides held on by straps and we had people literally pointing and laughing and taking pictures as we were trying to find our spot. Whatever the trip holds or adventure to come, Im headed that way again tomorrow.
