Ahhhh, a scene typifying Confest (others scenes maybe not so suitable for public viewing, lol). The communal Kitchen never ceases to amaze me. Somehow, magically, beautifully sumptuous dishes always manage to emerge from the uncoordinated hodge-podge assortment of random food people bring in contribution. Made, of course, with the loving hands of whomever volunteers for that meal. Everyone gets to enjoy the fruits of labour, sat around the campfire, chatting or simply enjoying the meal in the sun. Then, soon after, Chai and more conversation, massage trains, lazy sing-a-longs to the guitar or cuddle parties to be found in the Chai Tent. Just amazing and very special. Just goes to show how community can create abundance.
