Ahhhhh...went for hour walk on the waterway...saw Hummingbirds, Cranes, Geese, tons or beautiful Red-winged blackbirds, Robins, Finches, Sparrows, Swallowtails, and Mockingbirds. Oh...almost forgot the cutest part, Mommy duck swimming with two babies behind her.......so adorable. Yesterday we saw a Daddy Quail on the top of a concrete fence...looked down near him for Mommy and she was near a bush with about 14 little quail babies running all over. They had to only be about 2 days old. They were all so little but were already pecking at the ground and running very quickly. So much Nature and very well protected. So now I am refueling my body with gluten-free multi- grain bread, filled with chopped egg and black olives. Yum...plus a couple of kosher baby dills....yummie lunch! Thats all cuz, having dinner with Grama Jean, her friend Denny, Jim, I and Troy celebrating our sons birthdays! I love the Outback....just might get some baby-backs! Gotta get gifts ready too......fun day!
