Ahhhhhhhh!! I just read the letter that the new principal *finally* sent home and Im curious - who else is FUMING?! Im sorry...you want me to send my 4 YEAR OLD into this big, brand new building WITHOUT ME?! My 6 year old STILL has anxieties and the ONLY person shell allow to take her (still clinging and crying!) is Shandi Hogue Drain! Yes, she needs to adjust but she does so at a slower rate because of her social anxiety and doesnt deal well with change. This is just the FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!! Talk about sending two of my girls into a PANIC!! Seriously...how big of a fight am I going to be facing in the morning when I take them in...and all the way to the gym?!?! Do you think this new principal will have time allotted for meetings with upset parents?! I cant imagine how big of a mess a NEW parent must feel with their preschooler! I dont feel like Im overreacting. Were talking elementary school...not middle school.
