Ahithophel said to Absalom, I would choose twelve thousand men and set out tonight in pursuit of David. I would attack him while he is weary and weak. II Samuel 17:1-4 TAKE.ADVANTAGE.IF.YOU.CAN! KICK.EM.WHILE.THEYRE.DOWN! FORGET.ANY.SENSE.OF.RIGHT.AND.WRONG! Once people head down the wrong path, it SEEMS that at least some of them lose any sense of what is right and what is wrong! What was once out of bounds now becomes acceptable, if not even the norm for their behavior! Of course in this situation, other innocent people - - - 12,000 men to be exact - - - have become pawns to be used in implementing and carrying out the evil plans! We must be very careful as believers not be be suckered into the lives and evil plans of others who are not really concerned with God and/or spiritual things! GUARD YOUR HEART! (Do not let your emotions to be controlled by others!) GUARD YOUR MIND! (Do not allow academics or intellectual knowledge to keep you from acting on your spiritual faith!) GUARD YOUR BODY! (Do not harm yourself by participating in sinful habits or activities!) GUARD YOUR SOUL! (Do not give in to the devil or his cohorts!) ITS UP TO YOU TO BE EMOTIONALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND SPIRITUALLY PREPARED DAILY . . . FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AND FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE!
