Ahwazna An Ahwazi political prisoner named Amir Derisawi from Mahshor city was allegedly tortured untie he died in solitary confinement. On November 8, 2014, Ahwazi reliable sources close to family of political prisoner, Amir Derisawi, have confirmed to Ahwazna that he has been died as a result of internal bleeding after being subjected to severe torture by hands of Intelligence agents in solitary confinement. 25- year old Amir Derisawi, son of Abdul Jabber Derisawi, resident of Mahshor city was arrested weeks ago as a result of his regular engagement in political and cultural activities, including in Arabic poetry night occasions and traditional festivities for promoting the oppressed identity and the culture of Ahwazi Arab people. The sources added that “the health state of the martyr has worsened extremely that led the Intelligence agents to transfer him to hospital for short time, amid tight security measures”. After conducting early examinations on his critical health condition, doctors requested urgently the agents to allow Amir to be hospitalized for at least one week to receive the necessary treatment which is prevent his ongoing bleeding as he was diagnosed with rupture in his large intestine and severe swelling in his spleen. But the agents rejected the doctor’s request, underestimating Amir’s deteriorated condition and took him to solitary confinement which thereafter has resulted into his death. “Without any hesitation the Intelligence Ministry is responsible for our innocent son ‘death as they savagely tortured him to death, allegedly preventing him from receiving treatment by doctors”, his family members have quoted as saying. The shocking murder of Amir is only a small part of on-going manifestations of series heinous crimes perpetrated by the occupying regime of Iran against the Ahwazi political prisoners at Prisons particularly since 2005 of popular uprising throughout Ahwaz region. Since the popular uprising of 2005 in Ahwaz, the Iranian occupying security forces barbarically rough up, crushed and massacred hundreds of Ahwazi Arab activists by lunching massive arrests, resulting in hundreds being executed or killed under torture. like many brutal incidents committed by the rogue Regime, this event also remained uninvestigated and unmentioned by the international human rights organizations. Though, the sores and pain severity of the event is deeply engraved in the Arab people’s minds who were survived from its brutality. The 2005 popular uprising events for the Ahwazi Arabs people is considered impossible to be forgotten and forgiven until the whole perpetrators bring to justice one day to ease the agony of those victims whose blood is crying out for justice from their graves.
