Aidan and I at the screening for the THE ROOM last night at the Roxy Theatre here in Saskatoon. On the left is Greg Sestero, one of the stars of the movie, whose book THE DISASTER ARTIST, about the making of the movie and his relationship with Tommy Wiseau, has been purchased by James Franco and Seth Rogen for a movie. The guy with the long dark hair is Tommy Wiseau, the auteur responsible for THE ROOM. a movie famous for being one of the worst of all time. Seeing it last night with a crowd of fun-loving people who knew when to yell, what to yell, and when to throw plastic spoons or footballs was glorious and hilarious, kind of like the ROCKY HORROR of our time. Without the quality, of course. If this movie ever comes to a big screen near you, do yourself a favour and go. But be prepared for a very bad film.
