Air Niugini has launched yet another huge discounted airfare on its domestic flights. Tagged as the “Tura” fare after the popular 2015 Games Mascot, Tura, the half priced fares or fares discounted by 50% are available on 50,000 seats from September 1, 2014 through to September 1, 2015. Tura fare is also available on international flights but at other set fare levels. Whilst the fare was tagged to the 2015 Games Mascot, the heavily discounted level offers yet another huge saving to the traveling public. The Tura fare is Air Niugini’s way of acknowledging the need to make travel more affordable so that people do not feel that travel is luxury and out of their reach.
