Aircraft Apprentice Engineer - Broken Hill The South Eastern Section of the RFDS is seeking Expressions of Interest from persons interested in an apprenticeship in the RFDS engineering workshop at Broken Hill. This will suit a highly motivated applicant who desires to achieve a career in aviation. Apprentices who have years of service under a recognised apprenticeship scheme in other industries will have their service years recognised for salary purposes. Applicants are required to have: • Completion of the School Certificate prior to the date of application • Significant passes in Mathmatics, Physics and English • Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude and Achievement • Demonstrated IT Skills • Dedication to Achieving an Aviation Career • Drivers Licence Working hours will be in line with those in the Engineering Workshop and could involve some shift work and overtime. Remuneration will be in terms of the existing Enterprise Agreement. Expressions of Interests should be made in writing by way of a covering letter addressing the selection criteria and resume, accompanied by copies of last two years school reports. Two written references, one being from the school, must be provided together with copies of any relevant qualifications.
