Ajith, Vijay films likely to clash again this year Fans of Tamil stars Ajith and Vijay are likely to see one another clash this year, as their next films might release for this year’s Deepavali. Even though the reports are not confirmed, this curious buzz is going around in Kollywood. Ajith starrer “Veeram” and Vijay starrer “Jilla” released for this year’s Pongal on the same day, January 10. This has happened after seven years. In spite of the severe competition the films faced, both the films have earned good collection and have acquired a great spot at the box office. After witnessing grand success from their latest movies, the actors are now all set to embark on their next ventures. Vijay has already started shooting of his forthcoming project under the direction of Murugadoss. The film is not titled yet, but his fans are calling it Vijay 57 as this is Vijay’s 57th project in his film career. The shooting for the film went on floors on February 3. The first schedule was done in Kolkata followed by shootings in Hyderabad and Chennai. The director has now confirmed that this latest Vijay’s film will be released on the silver screens for 2014 Deepavali. Meantime, Ajith has signed his next film with director Gautham Menon. The shooting for this film has not yet started. This new Ajith’s project is an action film and the actor is currently doing heavy work-outs to tone his body. To suit the character he plays, Ajith is likely to shed a couple of kilos. All arrangements are made by the team to start the film at the earliest. The crew is likely to start rolling shoots in the third week of March. Even though no confirmation about the release of the movie has been announced by the team, the movie is expected to release for 2014 Deepavali. The latest buzz trending is Ajith and Vijay’s films might clash one more time this year.
