Akali Dal Maan president calls on JKLF Chief, condemns his arrest ‘We stand by our Kashmiri brethren’ Srinagar, July 22: In a meeting with Akali Dal Mann president Simran Jeet Singh today at Kothi Bagh police Station, Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik said the pain and agony of all oppressed nations is same. He said the oppressors apply same tyrant methodology to suppress poor nations. According to JKLF statement issued to GNS, Akali Dal leader along with his delegation while meeting Malik condemned his arrest and said the oppression unleashed by the state of India against Kashmiris is inhuman and uncivilized. “No human or democrat can approve such suppression.” According to JKLF spokesperson, the Sikh leader said, the way Kashmiri voice is being suppressed is horrible. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal stands by their Kashmiri brethren in this hour of grief and sorrow. “For showing our solidarity with Kashmiri nation we have traveled all along from Punjab to Kashmir.” “Similar kind of oppressive measures are also done against the true voices of Sikhs in Punjab. We there also face this oppression and state terrorism and our voices are also being suppressed with iron fist,” the spokesperson quoted Singh as having said. Meanwhile, the spokesperson said that JKLF Zone Pakistan and Azad Kashmir led by JKLF patron Aman Ullah Khan staged a protest in Islamabad Pakistan today. “Besides Aman Ullah Khan, the protest march was addressed by JKLF leaders Mohammed Rafiq Dar, Mohammed Saleem Bhat, Saleem Haroon Gulam Mujtaba, Nouman Ahmad and also Mushaal Mallik,” he said. On the occasion a memorandum was also handed over to the observer group of United Nations, the spokesperson added. (GNS)
