Akankshas Service Learning Program students, Akash Ahire and Akash Gaikwad have qualified for the final round of Reel to Real. As part of the Service Learning program, students are encouraged to understand and discuss several social problems. The issue of child labour deeply affected both these students who saw it happening in their community. In this short film, the two boys delve deep into the subject, and try and answer a few questions. Reel to Real is the motion picture competition organized by The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (tGELF). Akash Ahire and Akash Gaikwad will be traveling to Delhi in the coming week to participate in the final round where their short film on child labour will be competing with those from other schools from Delhi, Ghaziabad, Srinagar, Jaipur Dehradun and Bhutan.
