Akruranatha Dasa Gaura Das Urmila Edith Best et al: Forgive me prabhus if this is just a guna- and karma-influenced exercise in mental speculation but there seems to be a trend in recent years among devotees that the default and go-to response of a so-called liberal devotee to the actions and/or vani of a so-called more traditional devotee is to say that srila prabhupadas words are being taken out of context or the debate-smashing a-bomb or IED time, place, circumstance as if to instantly quash all inclination for instruction-giving and -receiving or -sharing. A type of scare tactic just to restrict one party from saying something another party may, prima facie, disagree with. This is so prevailing in devotee discourse--online and in person--that often times Im reluctant to quote srila prabhupada--even if its to say something as clearly delineated and unambiguous and indisputable and transcendental to context, time, place, and circumstance as the principle that chanting hare krsna is the recommended method of deliverance in kali yuga.
