Al-Jazeera makes a documentary on one of the worse single massacres committed by the Assad regime in Darya, Damascus province, when Assad forces killed more than 300 civilians - men, women and children - between August 20th and 25th 2012. As in the 1982 Hama massacre, the regime was helped greatly in this cover-up of genocide by the international community and by international media, both mainstream and alternative (sic), which rushed to give Assads account of events. Unfortunately for the regime, survivors did give their accounts of what happened and still have footage of some of the horrors inflicted by Assads forces in that bloodbath.
