Al Shamal Coach: Silvio DAlberto Player: Hamad Faraj Al Mas Coach of Al Shamal Silvio D’Alberto said at the pre-match press conference of Al Shamal vs. Al Khor match of the Emir Cup 2014: “This will be a different kind of game for us. The players have to motivate themselves and stay motivated. Al Khor didn’t have a good season overall and they were almost relegated to the second division but they didn’t so they’re a bit more relaxed.” He added: “We want to show that we can play against first division teams. I’m looking forward to seeing how the team will play tomorrow against Al Khor because I want to see the difference in level of performance between first division and second division teams seeing that we’re a first division team next season.” Player Hamad Faraj Al Mas said: “We played against Al Shahaniya and won in the last round of Emir Cup so hopefully we will play our best and win against Al Khor tomorrow.” Al Khor Coach: Laszlo Boloni Player: Othman Mohammed Saleh Coach Laszlo Boloni said: “This is a new game and chapter for us. We want to get rid of the bad memories of the season and play well tomorrow. We have to prove that we can win because we’re playing a team that has become a first division club in the upcoming season. I’ve not coached any other teams while living in Qatar. Al Khor team management and club is great and we have a very good relationship even during tough times. Player Othman Mohammed Saleh commented: “Hopefully we will play well tomorrow and win against Al Shamal. We have trained well for this match and will follow the strategy that the coach has prepared for us.”
