By Cornelia Jones: Five minutes with Vinnie and its hard to imagine that hes been left to die twice in his short life. Vinnie tested strong heartworm positive, which will require bloodwork and x-ray to determine the best treatment option. Hes at Hope Animal Clinic 205-426-2828 and treatment will start tomorrow. We are not sure until the vet looks at his X-rays whether he will receive 3 or 4 immiticide injections. Maybe some agree with euthanizing him, but I dont. He was rescued from the shelter last year. The foster to adopt home failed him. He has someone wanting to adopt him (more on that coming). He deserves the second chance promised to him last year.
