Alachua County Sheriff Sadie Darnell says Alachua County is trying to lead by example and erase this growing negative stigma about law enforcement. She says, With whats going on in our country and in our world, I need to make a statement and all of us in law enforcement need to set and example and its important that people recognize that we are human beings were going to make mistakes, but for the most part, 99.9% of the time we are trying to do the right thing and were trying to help people and were trying to do good.
