Alaina has had a very busy day. They did a MRI this morning that showed the spot on her head we were concerned about. They also noticed swollen lymph nodes, and spots on her liver, lungs and the base of her skull. They are noticing that is fast growing, whatever it is, and that is making them lean toward some kind of viral infection. Neuroblastoma is still on the list and tests/scans are being done for that. We are currently waiting while she has another surgery. They are doing a biopsy of the spot in her skull in hopes of figuring out what this is. We wont know any results tonight but hopefully in the next few days. We pray it is a virus that we can figure out how to treat. Please pray for Alaina ....... She has been through so much and is fighting with everything she has. We know they will figure this out and our Alaina will come back to us. We are anxiously waiting to see her and tell her its all going to be ok. God please help the doctors figure this out, guide the surgeons hands and help Alaina fight and stay strong.
