Alan Holt 3 News Meteorologist FIRST FORECAST - FRIDAY Rain showers will be far less numerous today, but on and off showers remain in the forecast. As of this writing (5:30am Friday), another round of showers is approaching Corpus Christi from the south. Best shot for rain today will be locations south of HWY 44. Temperatures remain in the 60s under overcast skies and a steady northerly wind around 15mph. Tonight, rain will be tapering off but a light shower is not out of the question. Friday night football games will be cool with temperatures in the low 60s at kickoff and upper 50s post game. Temperatures bottoming out in the middle and lower 50s overnight.
