Alan Holts forecast: 53° 41° Thursday: Patchy drizzle for the early morning of Thursday with temperatures in the low 40s. Wind chill will be in the middle 30s headed out the door this morning thanks to a north wind around 15 mph. Weather begins to improve today as an upper atmosphere system tracks over the northern part of the state. This will drag down drier air into the area, ending rain chances. Drizzle should be finished by noon, but clouds will stay put today with a little clearing north of Corpus Christi. Temperatures top out in the middle and lower 50s this afternoon with northwest winds at 10-15 mph. Tonight: Partial clearing is expected during the overnight as dry air continues to filter in. Temperatures will drop into the upper 30s to low 40s across the area with light northeast winds in place. Looking Ahead: cloud forecast will be tricky heading into Friday as the cloud line looks to set up close to Corpus Christi, running east to west. That will mean more sun to the north of Corpus Christi and more clouds to the south. Warmer for Friday with highs approaching 60°. Warmup continues on Saturday with highs in the upper 60s under a mix of clouds and sunshine. A weak, but reinforcing dry cold front slips into the area on Sunday morning, showering the area with much more sunshine with only a small drop in temperatures...Highs in the mid 60s Sunday. Seasonal weather through the middle of next week..Upper 60s and low 70s. Next significant front arrives Wednesday.
