Alan Holts forecast: Tuesday Night: Mainly clear skies and light southwesterly winds will promote more fog during the overnight with some areas generating dense fog. Temperatures settle into the middle and lower 50s. Use caution if traveling inland overnight and Wednesday morning with the fog in place. Looking Ahead: Lots of moving pieces in the forecast puzzle Wednesday and Thursday. A weak cold front will washout over the area Wednesday morning and then retreat north during the day. Itll drop temperatures into the middle 60s. A slug of moisture coming in from the Baja Peninsula will track over the area late Wednesday afternoon, developing some light rain. On Thursday, a piece of energy coming in from the north pacific will trigger numerous rain showers in the morning. The retreated cold front will move back into the area and push through during the afternoon. It will send temperatures from the mid 60s early Thursday afternoon, into the 50s late afternoon. Rain tapers off by Friday morning and some partial clearing may be observed late Friday. Weekend looks nice with sunnier skies and middle 60s in the forecast.
