Alan Wadi Okengo sentenced in a Nairobi Magistrates Court. He will serve one year in jail and pay 200,000 fine or another year in jail. Earlier today he admitted in court that he was guilty of spreading hate speech and insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta but that he was insane and would want to meet him and apologize in person. He was arrested in Uganda trying to apply for Ugandan citizenship. Our plea to government is that all those Kenyans who spread hate speech and insult right honorable Raila Odinga should be arrested and jailed on the same day.
