Alaqua Animal Refuge Pets of the Week - JUNO & - TopicsExpress

Alaqua Animal Refuge Pets of the Week - JUNO & JARVIS PERFECTION is such an overrated characteristic. Who among us is exactly perfect? Just as we expected...No one! We would like to introduce ourselves; our names are JUNO & JARVIS. We may not be perfect, but we are survivors and happy little campers. We are only about four months old. You see we are the last from a large litter of puppies rescued in January. You may have seen us on TV. You wouldnt have recognized us, as we all looked just like our beautiful mommy Jade. We are white, with tan colored spots; each pup with a different pattern of spots! My name is JUNO and I am the sweetest little girl you will never find if I must say so myself! I am a survivor. Of all of the puppies that were sick, I was the strongest, the one most determined to live. My demeanor is calm and mellow, with an added dash of sass, which makes me a delightful puppy. I love lots of snuggles, but Im the first one to join in the fun! Initially, once I got over being so sick, the nice people at Alaqua thought I might be just a little too mellow. They checked me out in the brainology department, and it was determined that I am normal there. Whew, that was a relief! I play well with others, but I am happy to be snuggled and held. I also have a bit of an overbite. I bet a lot of you know someone that had an overbite, too. They dont put puppy orthodontic braces on us. We just smile, accept the way we are, and move forward with life! Personally, I think it makes me kinda cute! JARVIS here! Im doing real well here at Alaqua. They say I have special needs. Well, yeah, if you call needing a lot of hugs a special need! When the staff members pick me up, I love to wrap my paws around their neck, and burrow my face into their neck, and tickle them with my kisses! That, my friends, is my special need! I had a spinal cord injury when I was a wee one, but I never let that stop me. I have improved everyday, and now the only way that you can tell that I had an injury is that my back legs have a little wobble to them. I still keep up with my siblings, in the play yard. I have never let my wobbly walk dampen my spirit, and the best thing is my tail still wags with happiness! I may not be perfect, but I definitely am adorable! So we were hoping there is someone out there, someone that would love us, even if we arent perfect. If you, or someone you know might have a heart that has room for a little pup, send them to Alaqua. Youll see the little girl with the overbite, but with the brightest smile, and the little boy with the wobbly walk, but the waggiest tail! We are full of love, happiness, and joy. We are not a bonded pair, so we are looking for our very own special families. Families that can take care of our special needs...the need to give lots of love and devotion to a family that loves us unconditionally.
