Alas! The unexpected had happened! After everyone had waited for a while, and could no longer hear any sound, the curious neighbours decided to breakdown d door to see what was going on inside the room! Sure enough, they found the both of them; the Brother and the sister both naked, lying untop of each other, both certified dead! What happened? This fellow; a brother who held a prominent position in his church, had come to visit this sister, who also was the choir mistress. They both got involved in d act of fornication, and in a bid to conceal their evil act, dey started singing praises, so dat d neighbours outside wouldnt be suspicious. And so they died in the process of sinning against God! Why? Thats bcs even though there is NO CONDEMNATION for d believer when he/she sins, there is CONSEQUENCES for their sins! There is a big diff btw this condemnation and consequences! Just see this, to understand the diff btw condemnation and consequences, here is an illustration; In a certain country, London i suppose, there is a road called autobah. This is a free road, where there is no law prohibiting high speed. Users can drive their cars at a very high speed if they want to, and they will not be arrested nor prosecuted for it, BUT in the process of doing dat they can get involved in a fatal accident and lose their lives! U see, so we can say, that even though when they drive at extremely high speed on dat road, there is NO CONDEMNATION to them frm the Government, YET they can in d process of doing dat, lose their lives by colliding with another car driving at full speed, or by losing control and driving off the road into the ditch! That is how it is in the kingdom; God DOES NOT condemn us when we sin, but our sin makes us VULNERABLE to the devils onslaught! We give him opportunity to hurt us when we commits sin! And dats why we told to QUICKLY CONFESS and repent of our sins, so that the devil will not hv an opportunity to hurt us. Thats what the Bible mean when It says, Neither give place[chance, opportunity] to the devil. But, when u CONTINUE to Sin, and refuse to judge urself and repent inspite of the warnings and convictions of the Holy Spirit, then God will allow u to be delivered into the hands of satan, that satan may destroy u! U might be surprise, but it is scriptural, and i will show u frm the Bible. In 1Cor5:5, the Bible said, To deliver such an one UNTO SATAN for the DESTRUCTION of the FLESH, that the spirit may be Saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. The destruction of the flesh simply means death. That means that it is the BODY of that person that will be DESTROYED, but his SPIRIT will still be SAVED at the resurrection day. Paul told Timothy of two Christians; Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom he handed over to satan to be destroyed, bcs of the wrong thing they did. He said, ...whom i have delivered UNTO SATAN...(2timothy1:20). U might say Paul was wicked. No he was not! It is a law in Gods Word, that believers who refuse to judge themselves, will be judged!(1cor11:12). Now, understand that it is NOT God who destroys them, rather it is their continuous involvement in sin, refusing to repent, that makes them vulnerable, and as a result, God ALLOWS them to be handed over to satan to be destroyed! Ofcourse that is not Gods best for them, but their own STURBORNNESS and stiff neck robs them of Gods Best for their lives! Didnt David by the Spirit said, it is a FEARFUL THING to fall into the Hands of The Lord? This is one reason why some Christians Die young, and people dont seem to understand why God allows then to die young just like that. Well, God is not to be Blamed. There had been a Secret Sin in his/her life, which u didnt know of, but God had continuously warned him/her about it several times, but he refused to change! U might not be aware of it, bcs he/she has been living an hypocritic life; holy on the outside, but a deep sinner on the inside! Nothing kills and ruin destinies like Secret Sin! If u dont kill it now, it will kill u sooner or later! I pray God grants u the Grace to terminate that besetting sin permanently in ur life!
