Alaska Adventure – Day 34 near Teslin, Yukon Territory to Deese Lake, British Columbia 10 shots; 6 thoughts: 1) … and… she pumped our gas almost before we turned off the key! Flashback! 2) Sign said “Do NOT go into caves under glacier!” Duh. 3) Cool little cemetery in a dark, dank, heavily forested area… how interesting. I find it hard to pass up any cemetery. 4) Here’s what happens to a dead tree when it’s continuously surrounded by the constant humidity of rain forest-like surroundings (see photo). 5) “Avalanche Area – NO STOPPING!” “Avalanche Area – NO STOPPING!” Where did I see these signs? At a REST STOP. Good grief. 6) Cool Grizzly that grabbed a salmon, plopped his foot on it, then starting tearing into it… again and again and again with each fish he grabbed.
